A Complete Overview on Nonsurgical Rhinoplasty

When it comes to the nose, most people think there are only two options if you don't like yours. You can either learn to love and live with it the way it is, or you can go under the knife. But nonsurgical rhinoplasty is another option that you can consider.

What is non-surgical rhinoplasty?

NonsurgicalNonsurgical rhinoplasty or liquid rhinoplasty is a process of nose reduction without surgery. Traditional rhinoplasty involves surgery and requires anesthesia and a long time to heal. Whereas liquid rhinoplasty only consists of small needles to inject Botox and filler to change the nose shape.

How is the procedure done?

The process of nonsurgical rhinoplasty is concise and straightforward. At first, ice is applied to the skin to numb it. Once the skin is numb, injections of filler/Botox are used.

Hence, this process only takes around 15-20 minutes to complete. And the best part is that the filler is reversible. This means, if you are not satisfied with the results, the filler injected can be dissolved.

How long does a  non surgical rhinoplasty last?

Traditional rhinoplasty, being a surgical process, gives you permanent results. However, since liquid rhinoplasty is a process of nose procedures without surgery, its results are temporary.

Which nose issues can it fix?

NonsurgicalNonsurgical rhinoplasties can fix crooked noses and issues like bumps on the nose. They can also make the irregularities along the nose bridge even to provide the illusion of the nose being straighter. In addition to that, it can also make the nose look more extended and more refined. However, since the procedure does not involve any surgery, it can't amend all nose issues.

Limitations of nonsurgical rhinoplasty

If you want your nasal tip to be narrowed or the top of it to be brought closer to your face, nose reduction without surgery is not the ideal option to consider. The non-surgical rhinoplasty procedure is also not the perfect option for getting the nostrils in to reduce the width of the base of your nose.

Though non-surgical rhinoplasty or liquid rhinoplasty has some limitations, it is sometimes preferred over surgical rhinoplasty, especially for correcting breathing issues and in the case of minor flaws. And the reason behind this is the

quick healing, faster results, and very little or no pain involved in this safe and effective procedure.
